So Nuance has been super snuggly lately. Aside from biting me sunday morning, she has wanted to snuggle and be held close. Right now she is sleeping in the crook of my arm. Last night we did a drama free nail clipping... a first ever!!!! I love my baby!!

How do i make my hedgehog love me? Ive had him for over a year, and he still stabs me and snorts and huffs and puffs, i try handling him so much, i use gloves and leave him on my lap but he refuses to be nice, just stays in a ball and wont move. Is it okay to wake a hedgehog up for lap-time? Sophie gets up after I go to bed and goes to bed when I get up, which makes it difficult to socialize her. She does get up in the evening to eat and run and poop, but she's very good at timing this for when I'm busy doing other things. We're determined to socialize little Apollo well. We want him to be very comfortable with people, and see being handled as a good experience. We're gentle, and we're patient, and when he gets curious and de-spikes himself, we give him a mealworm or two as a reward...but he's sort of crabby ( Read more... )
